The history of Mani started in the Persian region, famous for its vineyards and orchards where families pass on their cropland from generation to generation. Among these were the Rahmani family with a heritage in the food sector of more than 130 years, whose youngest son, Abouzar, gave birth to the Mani brand.

In his childhood, Abouzar spent a lot of his time on the farms and in the factories of the family's bulk dried fruits and nuts business, that had been established by his grandfather Hossein in 1887. There, from a young age, he became a connoisseur of ingredient quality, origins and an expert in processing methods. During his studies in Europe in 2004, he noticed a gap in the market - high quality dried fruits and nuts products were mainly sold in bulk and not regarded as a convenient snack. Hence, he went on to combine modern European marketing and manufacturing techniques with his heritage and knowledge about dried fruits and nuts, and a brand was born: Mani, from the surname Rahmani.
One day, he receives some worrying news. His doctor urges him to change his lifestyle, he is at high risk to develop diabetes. This is Abouzar’s wake up call. He loses over 30kg within 3 years and implements the same health-conscious approach to his business, focusing on the benefits of dried fruits and nuts, re-discovering all their nutritional superfood richness – and making Mani's product ranges deliciously natural and free-from. Drawing on Abouzar’s family business heritage and expertise, Mani International SA, based in Ticino, Switzerland, is now focusing on a range of stylish and convenient, 100% natural and organic snacking products with no artificial additives and none of the goodness removed. The ingredients are skilfully combined to offer all the richness and tastes of nature in nutritionally balanced daily snacks.
